ICONOLASTS CLINCH AGENCY DEAL

Diego Brown and the Good Fairy have signed with music-to-multimedia agency Iconic in a deal thought to be worth at least the paper it was signed on, if not a load more.

The hotly pursued pair are thought to have spent the closed season hammering out the details with the Midlands-based agency. They finally signed up to an exclusive 12-month deal in early January that will see the Singing Siblings pop up in all sorts of unlikely places around the UK.

A statement from the Taciturn Two said they had selected Iconic from among a host of other offers as they believed everything Iconic’s Stevie Horton and Andy Farquarson told them about the untold wealth waiting just around the corner.

‘We’re over the moon’, said a clearly drunk Diego Brown. ‘Now we can forget all our friends and concentrate on chucking tellies out of windows.’

‘This is great news’, said Jo Strimmer of pink legends The Flash. ‘The Fairies have been a phenomenon waiting to happen for some time now. Thank goodness someone with the right connections has finally come along to save them from pop obesity.’

The Brown Both are expected to make appearances at a number of festivals, clubs and other venues this year as a result of the deal, starting with a special appearance at a star-studded first anniversary party for ‘Get Rhythm’ magazine in early March.
