diego brown and the good fairy play the grand opening of a brand new London club called Catch 22 (a name you can't escape).

Come along and help make it special. You'll get to hear three bands, with diego brown and the good fairy headlining at around 10pm. And because it's new you can probably guarantee there's no sick in the sinks yet.

On the VERGE of historicism

In an eleventh-hour shock, scientists have revealed that Earth's birthday falls on 23rd November, not 12th as previously reported.

What's more a helpful member of the public has pointed out that the earth is in fact only 5 billion years old.

Well we say that's still pretty good going. So please come and celebrate by joining us for a quiet drink and a few rounds of bridge at
The Verge, Kentish Town, but not on 12th November
.

Please come on Saturday the 23rd November

Playing quietly in the background will be North London's premier music and mime ensemble Diego Brown and the Good Fairy. They've promised not to let the late change affect the suaveness of their performance.

So that's

The Earth - a mere 5 Billion Years Old Today

Lo! and Christmas cometh early

Hail the triumphant return of the Two Wise Ones to the humble Mill that has lately been refurbished unto an Arts Centre in the place they call Banbury.
Yea verily shall the ears of the flock be assailed with the awesome noise of Diego's plangent guitar and the Fairy's visceral fiddle. So much so that the salt and vinegar and yea the cheese and onion and even the smokey bacon shall be spilled among the feet of the assembled and trampled unto dust. And they shall hencforth call this date Chrispmess. And the date shall be 21 December 2002, the time 8pm ish, the place: The Mill Arts Centre, Banbury, the price: A mere three quid.

And after unto them in a blaze of light and privett shall appear the Box Hedge Clippers, forcing their strangeness into the minds of the weak of breast.
